Spiral Collar/ Slick Collar/Bottom Hole Assembly
Drill collar is the component of a drillstring that provides weight on bit for drilling. It is heavy, stiff steel tubulars. The weight of the collar also ensures the drill pipe is kept in tension to prevent bucking.
Landa Drill Collar are high quality products which meet the hardest operating conditions. Each collar undergoes strict quality control, and more than one hundred checks are made in the course of manufacturing. All mechanical properties meet API Spec. 7-1 and SY5411 standard.
Features
●A hardness range of 285 to 341 BH N and a Charpy impact value of 40 lbs/ft are guaranteed for evenly distributed 16 points in any cross sections at room temperature;
●Connections are phosphate coated after machining to protect the threads from corrosive elements and to prevent galling upon initial make-up;
●Thread roots are cold rolled on API and H-90 connections;
●Pressed steel thread protectors are supplied for all drill collar that are equipped with standard connections
